NAKIA Academy - Applications Open Now!

Applications are now being accepted for the NAKIA Academy fall cohort. As a member of a previous NAKIA Academy cohort, local or council leader, or WEA staff member, we need your help spreading the word about this important opportunity for POC members. 

NAKIA Academy nurtures authentic engagement with 500-plus POC members as they lead, organize, and create equitable spaces for all stakeholders in education and throughout our state. NAKIA Academy is more than a "program." It is a community in continuous growth and support. 

Please reach out to your networks and members you know who would benefit from participating. Pass along this information and encourage them to apply. The deadline for applications is Oct. 5. Thank you for time and efforts as we empower our members to lead.
