Here's your chance to honor an outstanding ESP
Most of us know an Education Support Professional deserving recognition. This is your chance to make that happen. The WEA is accepting nominations for the 2016 ESP of the Year award.
Think of your own colleagues - your bus drivers getting kids to school safely, the cafeteria employees nourishing our children, the front office secretaries or clerks working diligently and double-shifting as the school nurse, the custodian providing a safe and clean learning environment, your paraeducator working one-on-one with students. Imagine your nominee as he or she is presented with an award and being honored for a job well-done.
- Use these guidelines and nomination form to submit nominations by 12 PM, Friday, Feb. 5.
- The winning candidate will be awarded by surprise and the announcement will be made prior to our annual WEA Representative Assembly in Spokane this April.
- Nominees must be WEA members in good standing.
- Please provide no more than three letters of recommendation for each nomination.
